What I learned At The Gluten Free Allergen Free Expo @gfafexpo #GFAFEXPO

GFAF Expo me

I attended the Gluten Free Allergen Free Expo this weekend. It was my first time going to a Gluten Free Allergen Free Expo. So I was really excited to see what companies and products would be there. I have two children that are Gluten free, so I wondered what new products would be there for us to try as a family.

When I walked into the expo hall, I looked at all the aisles, and was just amazed, there were so many products that I wanted to learn about! So I started on one end and worked my way to the other end. I tried new products that I hadn’t heard of, I’m always up for trying new things to see if my children would like them.

I also learned how to read the Gluten free packages to find the best products for our family. I LOVED that so many gluten free products were so much lower in sodium, sugars and other ingredients that I watch for my family. I found an amazing honey, that I just loved and they donate the proceeds of their products to Breast cancer awareness! I found that you could use Granola to make an amazing pie crust! I found that there were so many gluten free products that I didn’t even know were out there for my family and where I could find them. I swear I was like a Kid at Christmas!

I also learned that someone else’s “No, that’s not spicy” could totally set my mouth on fire! Making me search for a sugar cookie and water to put the flames out! lol Yes, Yes, that really happened! I do have to say that even though my mouth was on fire, it was good for those that love spicy sauces. Although, I am also sure that I was a sight to see as I scanned for something to cool the fire! lol

I’m really looking forward to sharing with you all the delicious products, laundry products, and so much more with you for your families as well as mine! I’m already working with several companies that attended the expo to show you what their products can make, how they clean, and how they can help you and your family. I tried so many products that were just amazing, that I can’t wait to tell you about, share the products that they have to offer, and why your family is going to love them! If your looking for more amazing gluten and allergen free foods for your family be sure to stay tuned as I will be showing you products that will be a family favorite!

I think I tried that same sauce… I tried the lowest one and my mouth was on fire!! And it got more intense as it lingered. I ended up getting a bottle for my husband since he likes that stuff… but I’m with you I was frantically looking for something to put out the fire in my mouth 🙂

Yes, we must have been at the same place because I went as mild as possible as well. I had to laugh after because I know I looked funny as heck looking around for something to put the fire out.
