Good Cook: Jello Fruit Cool Whip Salad Recipe

Jello fruit whip salad

OMG! This is one of my favorite desserts or snacks, I also love to bring it to get togethers as well. I love it any time of year really but it is a refreshing treat in the summer. You can use any of your favorite flavors of Jello and fruit. I love to use the Island Pineapple Jello with different tropical fruits for summer, it’s so delicious.

This recipe is also a great way for your kids to start learning how to cook in kitchen. It’s a great time to have some family kitchen fun. I have my son’s help me make it and it’s one of their favorite dishes to make. It’s easy enough for my youngest son to make with me. I also love that they start to learn measurements as well while they learn how to cook, it’s a great way to get some math in the kitchen.

8 Oz box of your favorite Jello
1 cup Watermelon cut into bite size pieces
1 cup Cantaloupe cut into bite size pieces
1 cup green grapes
1 cup red grapes
1 8oz tub of Cool-Whip

Step 1: Make your jello as directed on the box, and let the jello sets
Step 2: Cut your fruit while the Jello is setting so it’s ready to make the Jello Salad
Step 3: When Jello is set, but the jello into small little boxes, they don’t have to be perfect
Step 4: Put the Jello into a large bowl and add fruit to Jello
Step 5: Mix in the tub of Cool Whip
Step 6: Place in the fridge for an hour before serving so that the flavors can mix

Keep the Jello salad in the fridge till ready to serve and place in the fridge when your not serving.

I placed my fruit into my Profreshionals Fruit Bowl, so that the juices would drain to the bottom of the bowl and stay out of my Jello Salad. The Profreshionals Fruit Bowl is exclusively available at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I just love how you can put anything that you want into the bowl that you want to keep the juices seperate from the other items and it will do it with no problem.

**Disclosure** I received the Professionals Fruit Bowl to make this recipe with from Good Cook. All opinions are my own.
