There are so many uses for Granola, you can eat it by itself, for breakfast, in parfaits, it’s a great snack and can be used in so many other ways. It’s one of those staples that I love to have on hand for my family because it is one thing that the whole family loves. I have found that I do love a lot of the different brands available but I also love this recipe as well. It’s a great way for the kids to be able to get their own snacks and the granola is perfect for lunches as well.
In this granola recipe I have opted to keep it simple. You can choose to add dried fruits, sunflower seeds, flax seed, or other ingredients that your family likes as well. I change it up often so that it’s always a surprise to the kids which Granola has been made. There are times if I’m going to be busy for a while I will make 3 to 4 different kinds of granola for them so that it is always available for them. My little princess’s (My granddaughter’s) love it as a snack and for breakfast, they also love parfaits they tell me it’s their ice cream. I’m okay with them thinking that it’s ice cream as it’s healthier for them.
