I think my internal clock is taking a nap and is backwards! All winter long I was up early and ready to take on the day. Now that spring is here, my body is saying “Psst…I think you should sleep in, and I’m not going to wake you up!” and “Yes, I’m going to make you late today!” I just don’t understand! My internal clock is confused, I could see it saying these things to me in the Winter when it’s cold, snowing, and you just want to curl up in bed with a blanket and read a book or something relaxing.
Maybe my internal clock is bummed because we have gone from Cold and snow to cold and rain??? It could be the weather right??? Yep, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! My internal clock just needs to catch up to the time change and all the up coming summer fun that will soon be here. Yes, I’m going to keep telling myself this at least until my internal clock stops trying to take naps!
Am I alone? Is your internal clock on strike as well??? I hope I’m not the only one that is having a glitch. I’m going to plan some summer fun for us and maybe that will wake it up?!?! Okay, I know it’s wishful thinking on my part….but it’s worth a shot! I really don’t want to spend the whole summer wanting to sleep in so…how have you woke up your internal to get back on track??? Have you started to exercise? Set the alarm a little earlier to give yourself extra time to get motivated?
I have a number of projects that I need to complete today and I have to say my clock has me very unmotivated! They will get done because I will give myself a kick in the pants to do them but I would rather be up and ready to go! Share your secrets on how your getting motivated to get your tasks done. I look forward to hearing how you have woke up your internal clock…….
