Homemade Strawberry Syrup Recipe

This recipe is actually from the Tightwad Gazette but I changed it to make it the Strawberry Syrup so it has been Modified from the original Recipe.

3 Cups of Granulated Sugar
1 Cup of Water
3 T of Molasses
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Maple Extract (Maple Extract is not the same as Maple Flavoring)
1/2 cup of pureed Strawberries (You can do with or without seeds)

Bring all the ingredients to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. {A Good Rolling Boil} Turn off burner, but leave pot on the burner until bubbling stops. Then your ready to use it on your pancakes, french toast or whatever you would like. You can put it into a container and in the fridge for a few days.
