I have to say that I love making the Freezer Breakfast Meals, I do this 1 time a month and we have breakfasts for the whole month. The kids love it because they can choose what they would like and we can even take them on the go with us if we are running late for an appointment. It just makes mornings so much easier and I know they are eating something healthy to start their day.
A Dozen Eggs
12 Flour Tortillas
1 Green Pepper
1 package of Bacon or Sausage Patties or Links (family prefers)
1 package of Cheese
Scramble the eggs in a bowl and mix in a little milk to make them fluffy. Then add chopped Green pepper, and your already cooked meat choice. Scramble the eggs with everything in the eggs. Then take your tortilla (one at a time) fill them and fold them into a burrito. Let them cool down a little. Then put them in a freezer bag. Label them and put the date on them. It will make 12 of your Burritos.
Homemade Egg Mc Muffins
12 Whole English Muffins
1 Package of Bacon
1 Package of American Cheese
Fry your eggs so that the yolk is still in tact, while your bacon is cooking, (I usually cook the bacon in the oven while doing this) Then toast your English Muffins, You then put 1 egg on each Muffin. Top with your bacon and cheese. Wrap your Egg Mc Muffins in a paper towel and then put in freezer bags to freeze. Label bag and put in freezer.
You can use a mix if your family prefers it, or you can make homemade pancakes. I also like to add Fruits or chocolate chips to them to give the kids a variety so it’s not always the same thing over and over again.
Make your pancakes, with Blueberrries, chocolate chips, banana or whatever you would like. Then let them cool. Now, I love to use my Bread bags for freezing them. Once the bread is gone I shake out the crumbs and save them to freeze my pancakes in. You can use any Bread bag to freeze them in. Then once they have cooled freeze them on a cookie sheet for 5 minutes then put them in the bag it helps them to stop sicking together.
You can again make homemade or use a Box mix the choice is yours. You will make the waffles and let them cool. Then put them on a cookie sheet and freeze them for 5 minutes and then put in freezer bags. Waffles are at times to big to use the bread bags for if they are the larger ones. If you are making the square waffles use the bread bags as well.
