Clean Eating Waldorf Salad Recipe #Recipe #Salad

This salad has been one of my favorites since I was a young girl. My mom had gone in for surgery and I was staying with my Aunt. I had a Home Ec and I had to make a dish at home and the family had to grade me on it. So my Aunt and I made a Waldorf Salad for everyone to eat with dinner. I of course received an A+ on it from the family, and when I brought it into class the next day my teacher gave me an A+ as well. So of course it became one of my favorites because it tasted great, but also because of the memories it holds for me as well. I have changed the recipe since the one that I made with my Aunt but it still has that amazing taste.

3 Gala Apples Cut into bite sized pieces (with or without peel)
1 cup of Green Grapes
1 cup of Red Grapes
1 cup of Celery cup up into thin slices
1 Cup Walnuts (Optional)
1/2 cup Eggless Mayo
2 tsps Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Honey
1/4 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Step 1: Once you you have the fruits and Celery chopped place them in a bowl and set to the side.

Step 2: In a medium size bowl mix together your Eggless Mayo, Lemon Juice, Honey, Ginger and Cinnamon. Stir well till they are all mixed together.

Step 3: Mix your Mayo mixture in with your fruit and coat it well during stirring.

Step 4 Place in the fridge for at least an hour to get all the flavors blended before serving
