Do you have an event coming up or just want to spice up your wine glasses? There is a great way to do just that with some glitter. They will go from boring to looking fab with just a little bit of Ultra Fine glitter, some Modge Podge, a sponge brush, and a plastic container. You can purchase Extra fine glitter at the craft store as well as the Modge Podge (Get Dishwasher safe to wash in the dishwasher), I purchased the wine glass from the Dollar Tree for this project. You can also decorate Champagne glasses as well.

You will start with your Modge Podge and put a layer on the wine glass stem. Then sprinkle the glitter you choose over the modge Podge. Then you will apply the Modge Podge to the bottom of the wine glass and around the edges of the glass and apply the glitter. Let it dry for 30-40 minutes and apply your next layer of modge podge and glitter. You will do between 3-5 layers till the glass is completely covered.

Once you have all your layers on you will start to add 3-5 more layers of Modge Podge over the glitter stem and let it dry another 30-40 minutes between coats to seal in the glitter.

When you have all your layers finished you will need to allow your wine glasses to dry for 3 days to allow all the layers that you applied to dry completely. Then your wine glass will be ready to be used. If you use the regular Modge Podge or one that is not dishwasher safe you will need to wash the glasses by hand when your done using them.
